New Post with some content and a paywall break WEB ONLY
Testing testing 1, 2, 3
If I copy and paste text here, what happens? Does it match styles? I am going to paste this text, from elsewhere, into this area with the goal of matching the styles. Since it won't match styles perfectly, I'm trying to minimize how much I have to change as much as possible. Retyping this whole thing takes too long, and pasting over the text I want to replace removes the override font in particular. However, if I paste next to the text I ultimately want to replace, it will still retain some formatting, and I can more easily reference some of the other formatting that needs to be applied.

Something fishy is happening with a user’s hyperlinking
When I click on a word to hyperlink it, it sometimes jumps to the top of the page
It’s not all the time, but it’s enough to be incredibly annoying
In some instances, it would jump to the top, I’d scroll back down, click on another word, and it’d jump back to the top again. And I’d do that sometimes 4 times in succession.
What could be the reason?
I can’t tell what’s causing it
I thought maybe it was bullets, but it did it in paragraphs
I thought maybe it was numbers, but it did it for bullets and paragraphs, as mentioned
I thought maybe it was words at the beginning of a sentence, but it did it for words in the middle
I thought maybe it was the user’s particular post, but it did it in another post, too
Now I’m going to be testing this out in my own newsletter. I’m just adding this copy here to see it I can replicate it here. It’s likely it has something to do with the user’s templates. (I haven’t checked if they’re using templates, but I assume they are since a couple of their posts seem formatted the same way.) Confirmed: they are using templates. So let’s see what happens here if I try to hyperlink some stuff. Will I have the same issue? Let’s find out.
Still unclear
One thing I did notice is that they had headers. So I’m adding a few to see if that makes a difference.
Still can’t replicate it. So I’m going to copy and paste their template stuff over here to see if something in there is causing it and is “transferrable”.

Let’s see if these bullets show up here
In June 1950, the Korean People’s Army, led by the Soviet-backed North Korean leader Kim Il Sung, launched a surprise attack on South Korea, gaining substantial ground and taking the capital, Seoul.
The United States and the United Nations intervened in the war two days after the initial attack. South Korean and U.S.-led UN forces were initially pushed back to the southernmost region of Pusan but later launched a successful counteroffensive, reclaiming lost territory and advancing beyond the 38th parallel.
After the UN forces crossed the 38th parallel, the Chinese military entered the war to support North Korea in October 1950.
On July 27, 1953, an armistice was signed, establishing a demilitarized zone along the 38th parallel, halting the open conflict but without a final peace settlement.
