Sometimes instead of upcycling things, we like to just straight up renovate things. It is, admittedly, not the most environmentally friendly — we use a lot of new materials because it’s easier and cheaper and faster than trying to reclaim stuff, especially when there are size constraints. Also….I waste a lot of paint brushes, ngl. And use a lot of spray paint 😬 I’m sorry environment!

Built-from-scratch lofted bed for my niece

Floating shelf for my living room entertainment unit. This is technicallyyyy not finished. It has no top because I need something that can be removed so the cords can be accessed in the back. But it also needs to be like 13 inches in depth which you cannot buy in common board sizes at Home Depot. I will probably end up at a lumber yard, which is annoying because lumber yards are very expensive.

These built-ins I’m pretty proud of. Don’t look at how the tops don’t match 😅
